Portuguese Port casks are known for imparting layers of dried fruit, dark berry sweetness, and subtle spice—characteristics that beautifully complement the soft malt profile of Spring Bay’s whisky.

Crafted using the finest Tasmanian barley, pure coastal rainwater, and a patient aging process, this release balances sweetness, spice, and oak in a warm, expressive dram.

Nose:
Sweet and inviting, with aromas of butterscotch, dried figs, and festive muscatels—classic hallmarks of seasoned Port wood.

Palate:
Luxurious caramel syrup and plum pudding spices unfold across the palate. The influence of the Portuguese Port cask brings ripe red fruits, nutmeg warmth, and a bright, spicy lift, mellowing into soft oak, leather and dried tobacco leaf.

Finish:
Lingering notes of cherry cordial, toasted nuts, and a gentle peppery warmth—an elegant reminder of the Port cask's depth and the craftsmanship behind the spirit.
